This role supports the management and implementation of the Trade for Jobs Uganda programme, a five-year initiative co-led by the International Trade Centre and the International Labour Organization, with funding from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.
The post focuses on strengthening SME competitiveness and access to trade in the dairy and tourism sectors by addressing systemic constraints in finance, skills, standards, value addition and market linkages.
Using a market systems approach, the role works through private sector and institutional partners to support trade-led job creation, income growth and sustainable change at scale, aligned with Uganda’s national development priorities.
