Trade for Jobs Uganda (2025–2030), co-led by the ILO and ITC with Sida funding, applies a market systems development (MSD) approach to promote decent work and trade in Uganda’s dairy and tourism sectors.
The Communications and Knowledge Management Advisor will lead implementation of the project’s communications and visibility strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and stakeholder engagement.
Key duties include producing knowledge and media materials, coordinating visibility events, managing digital content, documenting systemic change and MSD results, and transforming data into engaging learning products. The role requires strong communication, storytelling, and design skills, with experience in development, trade, or private-sector projects.

This contract will be administered on behalf of ITC by UNOPS. This vacancy is open for locally residing nationals of Uganda. Applicants must be authorized to work in the duty station where the position is located. Eligible applicants selected from outside the duty station are responsible for any expenses in connection with their relocation to the duty station.
