Trade for Jobs Uganda (2025–2030), co-led by the ILO and ITC with Sida funding, uses a market systems development (MSD) approach to promote decent employment and income generation in Uganda’s dairy and tourism sectors.
The Advisor will support the design, implementation, and monitoring of MSD interventions, working with public and private partners to address trade barriers and strengthen business models for inclusive growth.
Responsibilities include supporting the MRM system, coordinating stakeholder engagement, contributing to research and capacity building, and ensuring knowledge sharing and reporting. The role requires expertise in MSD, tourism, project management, trade, and stakeholder coordination.

This contract will be administered on behalf of ITC by UNOPS. This vacancy is open for locally residing nationals of Uganda. Applicants must be authorized to work in the duty station where the position is located. Eligible applicants selected from outside the duty station are responsible for any expenses in connection with their relocation to the duty station.
