This is an intervention summary from the MSD for employment (MSD4E) landscape assessment which was undertaken by the MSD4E Community of Practice and funded by the ILO, Mercy Corps and Swisscontact. It is based on self-reported information from individual MSD programmes, reviewed and compiled in a common structure to enable learning across the field of MSD4E.
The project aimed to encourage young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina to explore freelancing and to strengthen the country's freelancer ecosystem.
Through partnerships it:
- raised awareness about diverse self-employment opportunities
- provided valuable information
- advocated for supportive policy measures
The project also fostered community collaboration to build momentum for further ecosystem development, enhance services for freelancers and drive advocacy efforts.
