Closing Date

CRS is seeking a Project Director to lead a pilot project in Afghanistan integrating Natural Resource Management and Market Systems Development to strengthen climate-resilient rural livelihoods.

Based on-site, the role requires a facilitative, systems-oriented approach - catalysing private sector co-investment through a Challenge Fund rather than delivering services directly.

Key responsibilities include donor engagement (World Bank, EU, USAID, FCDO, BMZ), partnership facilitation, adaptive management and knowledge product development.

A senior leadership position, it also involves building staff capacity in MSD and systems thinking. Requires at least five years in senior programme management with demonstrated MSD and climate resilience experience.
