The ALCP2 programme works to increase incomes and improve livelihoods for rural producers in Georgia.
The 2023-2024 annual report highlights strong progress across all three outcome areas:
- Climate-smart inputs and services: Over 5,000 farmers adopted sustainable practices, 961 purchased climate-resilient inputs, and 340 beekeepers bought 7,312 adapted hives.
- Sustainable market access: Nearly 4,000 producers entered value chains, export targets were exceeded, and certified MSMEs expanded.
- Inclusive natural resource use: 164,000+ rural producers gained improved access to local decision-making, with Women’s Rooms and rural hubs central to inclusion.
Early signs of system change are visible across sectors, with crowding-in, stronger local institutions and sustained behaviour shifts. The programme is on track, with a proposed one-year extension to consolidate impact and sustainability.
