The ALCP2 programme works to increase incomes and improve livelihoods for rural producers in Georgia.
The 2022-2023 annual report shows strong early progress across three outcome areas:
- access to climate-smart inputs and finance
- sustainable market access in sectors like dairy, honey, and silk
- equitable use of natural resources
Key findings include income increases for over 2,000 producers, growth in honey exports, strengthened producer associations, and expanded outreach to women and minority groups. Women’s Rooms gained official recognition, and environmental protection efforts advanced.
Results measurement systems are in place, with a DCED audit scheduled. The programme is on track and expanding into new regions and sectors.
