Global research on inclusive market systems for climate adaptation and resilience of vulnerable groups

The international consultant will support the ILO in conducting a global research to map, categorize and unpack existing approaches and interventions aiming at building the resilience of vulnerable groups against climate change and at generating income and jobs currently implemented by development and humanitarian actors in fragile contexts.

The research will adopt systemic lenses in the analysis of these interventions to critically reflect and take stock o their effectiveness, inclusiveness, sustainability, scale and impact.

Alongside mapping and categorizing approaches and interventions targeting climate change resilience among vulnerable groups, the research will incorporate the analysis of at least two case studies.
