This case study looks at how the Feed the Future Mozambique Agricultural Innovations (FTF Inova) activity improved smallholder farmers' access to important inputs and information.

Most smallholder farmers in Mozambique are deeply marginalised, disconnected from markets, and have little opportunity to access agricultural inputs and information to improve their yields and increase their incomes.

In partnership with FTF Inova, private sector agribusinesses in Mozambique introduced five innovations to improve their products, retail stores, and marketing in order to better attract and serve their farmer customers, transitioning to a system that delivers value to the customer as opposed to one that is oriented around trade.
