The DCED Global Seminar 2024, held in Nairobi, gathered 180 participants from 45 countries to explore systemic approaches in private sector development.
It emphasised collaboration between donors and practitioners, focusing on six themes:
- systemic approaches
- employment
- climate adaptation
- innovative financing
- fragile contexts
- donor-implementer relationships
The event featured plenaries, micro clinics, workshops, and discussions to share insights and tackle challenges such as market systems in fragile situations, sustainable finance, and green PSD.
Feedback highlighted the seminar's value in networking, content and logistics, with participants praising its interactive nature and variety.
