Enterprise Support Organisations (ESOs) in developing economies face critical challenges. Over-reliance on unpredictable donor funding can jeopardise long-term financial sustainability and scalability, and demonstrating impact to attract further investment is difficult. Many also lack the internal capacity for robust program management and consistently high-quality service delivery.
Some organisations are now looking to Results-Based Financing (RBF) as a way to improve the impact and sustainability of ESOs such as accelerators and incubators.
