All cozy, and snuggled up in the wonderful sweater you knitted last summer? Now it's time to think about the coming Spring and Summer seasons. The National NeedleArts Association's Yarn Group Fashion Show, held in January '10, was all about lace and light, new designs for everything from capes and shawls, to bikinis! While the cold winds howl outside, you can spend your leisure time creating wonderful, new garments to keep your mind at ease, your stress levels low, and all your friends jealous! Everything you ever wanted to knit or crochet, available in your LYS! Enjoy all the exciting fibers and designs . . . but don't forget about all the other fabulous fibers and exciting patterns available. Highlights and Happenings Take me out to the ball park . . . everyone was there! The 2009 season of Stitch N' Pitch was a huge success! The games continue to raise awareness of the needlearts, while they are also raising funds for TNNA's Needle Arts Mentoring Program^TM. This program, a project of the Helping Hands Foundation brings mentors and young people together to share a healthy habit - the needlearts. For more information, please click here.
