A final audit report assessing RSMEDP's monitoring and results measurement system against Version 8 of the DCED Standard for Results Measurement, conducted in November 2024.
The programme scored 91 per cent on mandatory compliance criteria and 92 per cent on recommended criteria, covering five selected interventions across three functions: financial knowledge and skills, investment in machinery and technology and market access and marketing.
The report works through each of the seven sections of the DCED Standard, summarising scores, strengths and weaknesses at the control point level.
Strengths include well-documented results chains, active use of MRM information in intervention management, robust GESI disaggregation and publicly available annual reports.
Key gaps relate to qualitative information needs, projection accuracy, impact assessment rigour, data aggregation quality control and acknowledgement of other actors' contributions to reported results.
Improvement recommendations are listed in a closing section, with detailed function-specific findings provided in annexes.
