Growth Teams is a non-profit doing MSD/PSD-style work — embedding with governments across Africa and India to kickstart export industries and jobs by working directly with firms and government to unblock growth. They're scaling support to TISEZA, Tanzania's investment agency, to deliver the country's Vision 2050 strategy.
The Senior Partner will lead the TISEZA engagement: diagnosing constraints behind stalled sectors/reforms, brokering public-private problem-solving, designing investment promotion strategy, clearing investment bottlenecks, and building TISEZA's own institutional capability. High-autonomy role setting the agenda, not executing one.
Seeking 8+ years solving complex economic/institutional problems (government, consulting, entrepreneurship, or private sector) with a genuine track record of driving outcomes, not just advising. Based in Dar es Salaam. Fluent English required; Swahili a plus.
