Tim is an economic development and evaluation expert, project manager and systems thinker with more than 15 years of experience managing, designing and evaluating projects in more than 20 countries. As a Managing Partner at the Canopy Lab, he leads the company’s MEL practice, where he carries out theory-based evaluations, conducts outcome harvests and supports clients with outcome mapping exercises. He has also led long-term evaluations, advised on large-scale organizational change initiatives, coached teams in market systems development and mentored project managers. Tim combines practical experience with a strong research interest. He earned a Master’s Degree in International Affairs, with a focus on Development Economics, from Columbia University in 2007, and prior to that he studied the classics at St. John’s College.
