This is an intervention summary from the MSD for employment (MSD4E) landscape assessment which was undertaken by the MSD4E Community of Practice and funded by the ILO, Mercy Corps and Swisscontact. It is based on self-reported information from individual MSD programmes, reviewed and compiled in a common structure to enable learning across the field of MSD4E.
TMS supports the development of the tourism industry to create memorable experiences and complementary services that motivate visitors to travel to Honduras and spend money.
The expected impacts of tourism are the diversification and resilience of the Honduran economy and the generation of quality jobs, especially for women, working in hospitality and tourism services.
